"Bigg Boss" viewers can rejoice as Salman Khan will be back as the host for the next season, if rumours are anything to go by.
Salman Khan made an exit from the "Bigg Boss 8" on 3 January after the grand finale and handed over the extended version called "Bigg Boss Halla Bol" to Farah Khan.
In a video message to the contestants, he said that his journey with "Bigg Boss 8" ended here as he is busy with the shooting of his movie "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". However, he also assured the contestants as well as viewers that he will try to comeback for the grand finale.
There were even reports that Salman has decided to take a break and concentrate on his health.
Deccan Chronicle reported saying that the actor will wind up all the pending projects and take some time out for his health and production house in 2015. The reports gave rise to speculations that Salman might not host the next season of the controversial reality show, i.e. "Bigg Boss 9".
A leading daily also reported that Salman asked makers to find a replacement for the show. And the makers have already started approaching several celebrities for next season, DNA reported.
However, latest rumours suggest that Salman will indeed host the ninth season of the reality show.
