Salman Khan, who is still riding on the success of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", has resumed shooting for "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" in Karjat.

And on the occasion of Friendship Day (2 August) and his sister Arpita Khan Sharma's birthday (3 August), the superstar threw a party at his farmhouse in Karjat.

Among the guests were his family members, friends and co-stars from "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". Neil Nitin Mukesh and Armaan Kohli, who play the superstar's evil brothers in the film, were also present at the bash.

The trio have grown quite fond of each other and will be shooting back-to-back action sequences in the next few weeks.

"For the occasion, Salman had brought home-cooked chicken biryani and prawn curry to the sets," a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Salman also invited Nawazuddin Siddiqui, as he shares a close bond with the actor since they worked together in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". However, the talented actor, who is busy promoting his upcoming film, "Manjhi - The Mountain Man", couldn't make it to the bash.

"Salman bhai is a dear friend. He is always caring and thoughtful. I couldn't attend the party as I'm travelling. But as a Friendship Day gift, I will arrange a special screening of my film, for bhai," said Nawazuddin.

"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", also starring Sonam Kapoor, will see the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor playing a double role -- one as a common man, and the other as a prince. Sonam will essay the role of a princess.

Sooraj Barjatya's film will hit theatres on 11 November, during the festive occasion of Diwali.

Salman-Barjatya had earlier teamed up for blockbuster films "Hum Saath Saath Hain" (1999), "Maine Pyaar Kiya" (1989) and "Hum Aapke Hai Koun" (1994).
