After "Hero," Sooraj Pancholi hasn't appear in any film, but recent buzz is that Salman Khan will again make a movie for the newbie. It has been reported that Aditya Pancholi has asked his good friend Salman to make a film for his son.
"After 'Hero' did not open floodgates Sooraj's father Aditya Pancholi who is close to Salman requested another film for Sooraj. Salman has asked Mahesh Manjrekar to write and direct script featuring Sooraj in the lead," SKJ Bollywood News quoted a source as saying.
Salman launched Sooraj and Athiya Shetty in the Nikhil Advani-directed movie last year. Both the actors have not appeared in any other project since then. However, Sooraj did a song video, "GF BF," alongside Jacqueline Fernandez. The T-Series music video had him impress viewers with his dance skills.
Sooraj has also made headlines due to his alleged involvement in the suicide case of his late girlfriend, Jiah Khan. Apart from "Hero," which didn't impress the audience as expected, it looks like filmmakers are not interested to team up with Sooraj due to the legal issues as well.
However, after "Hero" was released, Remo D'Souza had announced that he would cast Sooraj with Ajay Devgn in an action film. But no further details have been revealed about the project so far.
Now mentor Salman seems to have come to his rescue and will reportedly make a film, which will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Salman had also helped Arjun Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat, Daisy Shah, Zarine Khan, Sneha Ullal and Sonakshi Sinha start their careers in Bollywood.
The superstar is currently busy with his own project – "Sultan." Scheduled to be released on Eid, the movie will feature Salman in a wrestler's character while Anushka Sharma will be seen opposite him.
