Salman Khan and his rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur have reportedly parted ways, and Salman's sisters apparently played a major role in this development.
It has been reported that Salman's sisters Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Khan felt Iulia was too "indiscreet" about her relationship with the superstar, and thus disapproved of the Romanian beauty as their sister-in-law.
A few days ago, rumours of Salman's engagement with Iulia created headlines after she was spotted with a ring in her finger, which reportedly did not go well with the "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" actor's sisters. There was also buzz that Salman and Iulia's marriage was on the cards next year.
"Iulia flashed a ring on social media and this made Alvira and Arpita very angry. They are very protective and possessive of Salman, and felt Iulia had been too indiscreet, and therefore wasn't right for their brother. They packed her off home to Romania," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
Although Salman and Iulia are reportedly not in touch now, the report did not confirm it to be a complete breakup as the source said the relationship is currently "frozen".
The report also said Salman's family was considering Iulia to be ideal for Salman, but the ring incident and Iulia posting frequent updates on Facebook about him made Salman's sisters sceptical about her.
"After Iulia left, Salman also became busy with the promotions of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. To be honest, he simply hasn't had the time to think of his relationship," added the source.
