Salman Khan will soon be teaming up with "Baahubali" director SS Rajamouli for a sequel to a blockbuster movie, if all goes well. Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the script of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan," recently made the revelation that Salman and Rajamouli will come together for "Eega" sequel.
Vijayendra was in Chennai to talk to students of a film institute when he told them that Salman will be seen in an interesting role, DNA reported. "Eega," which was dubbed in Hindi as "Makkhi," is about a murdered man who is reincarnated as a fly. The fly is the protagonist in the film, who takes revenge from his murderer played by Kannada star Sudeep. The film was directed by Rajamouli and became a huge hit in India.
Talking about the sequel of the film, Vijayendra told students that Salman has shown keen interest to be a part of the sequel. Salman wants to act in the second instalment of "Eega." However, the writer did not reveal any more information about the sequel.
Rajamouli is currently working towards finishing the second instalment of one of the biggest blockbuster hits "Baahubali – The Beginning." The sequel, which is titled as "Baahubali – The Conclusion," will be released next year April and if Rajamouli plans to work on "Eega" part two, then he would start only after mid-2017.
Meanwhile, Salman too is busy with several films, starting with "Sultan," followed by Kabir Khan's next. The actor has reportedly given his nod to Sooraj Barjatya's next project, Aneez Bazmee's "No Entry Main Entry" and a Hindi remake of the Telugu film "Kshanam" is also in the pipeline.
