Salman Khan's marriage has been one of most-discussed topics in the media and also widely speculated on. Although he has expressed his disinterest over the institution, there have been rumours in and around it.
On Thursday, after the superstar walked free from the charges he was slapped with in the 2002 hit-and-run case, many of his industry friends and well-wishers congratulated him.
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who directed him in "Yuvraaj", was one of them. Unlike others, he had an interesting point to make hinting at a possible development in the actor's life.
"The case had an impact on his personal life. He could have married at 34. Now he is 50," NDTV quoted him as saying.
Does this mean Salman is finally ready to take the plunge or will he stick to his no-shaadi policy?
His views on marriage haven't changed much with time. A few years ago, he said he would want to have kids without a wife. Cut to "Bigg Boss 9", in which he rejected Deepika Padukone's marriage proposal saying anything but that.
Interestingly, Iulia Vantur, the actor's rumoured girlfriend, was recently spotted with him outside director David Dhawan's house. Preceding this incident were stories about how the two got engaged at private ceremony attended by close friends and family.
In other news, Salman will be next seen in Yash Raj Films' "Sultan", in which he will reportedly be seen playing a 40-year-old wrestler.
