Pakistani singer and actress Salma Aagha's daughter, Sasha Aagha, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with a glamorous role in Yash Raj Films.
The actress will be seen opposite actor Arjun Kapoor, who shot to fame with "Ishaqzaade", in Aditya Chopra's home production "Aurangazeb".
"Yes...Sashaa is confirmed for the project 'Aurangzeb' opposite Arjun Kapoor," YRF spokesperson told Press Trust of India.
"She will be presented as a super glamorous heroine. But staying true to the method adopted by the Yashraj banner, her look will be guarded closely until the release of the film," The Times of India quoted the spokesperson as saying.
The film directed by debutant Atul Sabharwal also casts Jackie Shroff, Amrita Singh and Rishi Kapoor. The upcoming movie is said to be a remake of the 1978 blockbuster hit "Trishul" directed by Yash Chopra.
Arjun, son of Boney Kapoor, is playing a double role in the film along with Prithviraj in the lead roles. The movie is scheduled to release early next year.
The shooting of the film began mid-August and Sasha's look in the movie is closely guarded until the film is released.
Apparently, Sashaa's mother Salma also made her Bollywood debut with Yash Chopra's elder brother B.R. Chopra's 1982 movie "Nikaah" for which she had won the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award for the ghazal "Dil Ke Armaan Aasooome Beh Gaye".
