A jewellery store in China has received criticism for forcing a saleswoman to strip down to sell diamonds. A video of the woman wearing diamond nipple pasties to sell jewels has gone viral on social media.
The video has caused outrage on social media with several users slamming jewellery store Chow Luk Fook in Hong Kong for asking the woman to pose half-naked to sell their jewels. Chow Luk Fook is a popular jewellery store in Hong Kong and has many outlets in the country.
In the video, the saleswoman is seen standing behind the jewellery counter. Several social media users slammed the owners of the jewellery store and called the act "shameful," "vulgar" and "cheap."
"The shop owner should be ashamed," one user commented.
"So pathetic. Its sale are so poor that it can't even afford buying uniforms for staff," another said.

"It will possibly create a counter effect," a user wrote.
This is not the first time this jewellery store pulled a promotional stunt such as this, the Daily Mail reported. In 2013, for the opening of the jewellery store, women bodies were painted in multiple colours, the Daily Mail said.
