Popular small screen couple Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar is set to make their online debut with a web series titled Kehte Hai Opposites Attract. The series will be streamed at Ekta Kapoor's production house Balaji Telefilms' app ALT Balaji.
The web series, Kehte Hai Opposites Attract, will narrate how two people with distinct characteristics can fall in love. Talking about being a part of the web series, which is a new trend in India, Sakshi told DNA: "It's great to be a part of something which I have never tried out before. It is a new territory for me and the production house is ready to break new ground on the digital platform."
The actors have started shooting for the show. In fact, they are filming at real locations unlike television shows, which are shot on the sets.
The actress, who is teaming up with Ram and Ekta after their successful show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, said: "I am proud of the stories I was a part of with her (Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Bade Acche Laggte Hai). Now, I look forward to my new digital journey that is starting with her. There is a lot of trust when it comes to Ekta. We have done a TV show that was successful and popular. We did amazing work together and I want to do something equally exciting on digital."
Besides Kehte Hai Opposites Attract, Ekta has a list of new web series lined up. One of them will feature Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur in the lead role. The story will be centred around the Indian Army. The yet-to-be titled web series will be directed by filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor.
The third web series will feature Dipannita Sharma in a bold and intense role opposite Sameer Soni. The yet-to-be titled show will be based on complicated relationships. Dipannita will play the character of a wife, whose husband falls in love with another woman.
