Marathi movie "Sairat" made Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru internet sensations overnight. After the success of the film, 15-year-old Rinku and the 23-year-old Akash have been followed and mobbed by fans.
And now the popularity is affecting the personal lives of both the stars. Rinku had earlier said that her life has changed completely and there have been instances when fans have followed her, and now Akash is facing problems while shooting his second film.
Akash is shooting for Mahesh Manjrekar's movie "FU" in various parts of Maharashtra. And to keep Akash safe from the mob, the makers have arranged for heavy security on the film's sets.
"The film's team has tried to keep the actor's presence in FU a secret, to no avails. Everywhere they go, hundreds gather to get a glimpse of Thosar and incessantly mob him for selfies. Shooting with him has become a problem," DNA quoted a source from the unit as saying.
Talking about his upcoming film, Manjrekar said that it is about the youth. "The title says it all. The abbreviation is self-explanatory. For the Censor Board, however, it stands for Fun Unlimited. We don't want trouble," he told the daily.
Meanwhile, Rinku and Akash are still enjoying the success of their debut film "Sairat," which is now the biggest Marathi grosser. The film has grossed more than Rs. 85 crore and also shattered the records of Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan" in India.
"Sairat" continues its successful run and now is even being remade in several other languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati and Hindi. The team is also celebrating the success of the film at various platforms.
Earlier, "Sairat" team appeared on Kapil Sharma's show "The Kapil Sharma Show" and recently they celebrated the film's success on 92.7 BIG FM with RJ Dilip.
