With wedding preparations in full swing and the traditional wear for the bride and groom now decided, Saif Ali Khan's sisters Soha and Saba will opt for heirloom wear belonging to their mother Sharmila Tagore.
According to The Times of India (TOI), the yesteryear actress is taking care of the wedding clothes for her two younger daughters. "I am really leaving it to my mother. We have got some very wonderful clothes, lots of ghararas and shararas, which have been passed down through generations. So, I think the idea is to work on those and put them together for both my sister Saba and myself," Soha was quoted saying by the daily.
The actress said that some of the pieces were handed down over the generations and are thus unique.
The Pataudi sisters are not the only ones to wear their mother's collection. Kareena Kapoor will be also be wearing Tagore's very own bridal Sharara for the big day, while her other dresses for the reception will be designed by Manish Malhotra.
It was also reported that Kareena's wedding jewellery would be designed by Soha who is a jewellery designer.
As for the wedding itself, Kareena's family is equally excited about the union. When asked about the wedding date, the actress' sister Karisma told TOI, "I have left it to them to decide their wedding date and then announce it officially. I think that will be the right thing to do."
Despite the event expected to be the biggest celebrity wedding of the year, it was said that the wedding would be a private affair with only family and close friends invited.
