Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's 19-months old son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi is a hot favourite with the paparazzi who trail him everywhere right up to his playschool. But it is not the same with fans who often cross the line.
Recently, a fan invaded Taimur's private space to get a selfie without permission when the paparazzi were busy clicking his pictures. While his nanny shooed him away, it looks like the incident has alerted Saif and Kareena who are now reportedly looking to assign a bodyguard for their child to keep him protected from unwanted attention.
In the past, Kareena and Saif have always talked about the constant media attention Taimur has been getting ever since his birth. They had always maintained that they want their child to have a normal upbringing as any other child and keep him grounded. But it looks like the incident has triggered a sense of worry among them.
A couple of months ago, Kareena spoke about how she and her husband Saif Ali Khan had been dealing with the constant spotlight on Taimur.
"We are dealing with it every day. We obviously don't like it. He gets trailed everywhere, right up to his playschool. He's 18 months old and is beginning to react to it and it worries us. He responds when the cameraperson calls out his name. We are trying to be normal. But it's putting a lot of pressure on us as to what we're going to tell him. I don't know how we're managing. But we are. The problem really is that I don't want to shield my child. I don't want 5 bodyguards around him because that's not how Saif and I were brought up and we both came from affluent families. I want Taimur to have as normal an upbringing as any other child has. But I will say that nobody has crossed a line. So far. But it's worrying for both Saif and me. I want to keep him real and grounded," Kareena had told Huffington Post.
