Telugu movie "Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham" (PNLJ) starring Sai Dharam Tej and Regina Cassandra in the leads has collected approximately ₹10.75 crore at the box office worldwide in 24 days.
Released in decent numbers across the globe on 14 November, "PNLJ" opened to good response and collected ₹2.50 crore on the first day. The film remained rock-steady on the following days with its first weekend global collection reaching ₹5.18 crore.
But "PNLJ" witnessed around 50% dip in its business on Monday and kept falling on the following days. On weekdays, the movie collected ₹2.67 crore at the box office, taking its first week global total to ₹7.85 crore nett. It topped the Tollywood's business chart, beating Vishnu Manchu's "Erra Bus," which also hit the screens on the same day "PNLJ" was released.
But "PNLJ clashed with "Rowdy Fellow," "Ice Cream 2", "Naa Bangaru Thalli," "Rough," "Yamaleela 2," "Ala Ela," "Chakkiligintha," "Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki," "The End" and 12 other new releases in the following weeks. In the next 17 days, "PNLJ" collected ₹2.9 crore net at the box office and its 24-day global collection stands at ₹10.75 crore.
Made on small budget of around ₹7 crore, "PNLJ" fetched its makers ₹13 crore from its theatrical rights of different regions across the globe. The film has earned decent amount of profit to its makers, but it has proved to be an average grosser for the distributors, reports Andhra Box Office.
