After Ricky Gervais sought to make us all laugh at the Golden Globes 2016, it's time for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, SAG Awards as it is popularly known, to take place. The best of television and film will be honoured at the award show on Saturday, 30 January, in the gilded hall at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The organisers of this year's SAG awards have gone au naturale and according to reports, thousands of orchids and roses will adorn the auditorium.

The event's official broadcasters are TNT and TBS. You can live stream the entire show online via TNT Website.

In addition to this, E! Online will cover the red carpet event. E!'s Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski will be the hosts at the red carpet, along with Zuri Hall. You can watch it online via E! Live.

The red carpet appearances will begin at 6pm EST/3pm PST.

List of Presenters

If you've missed seeing Amy Poehler and Tina Fey on stage together, then be prepared to see them as one of the presenters of the night. Other presenters include Idris Elba, Rachel McAdams, Mark Ruffalo, Susan Sarandon, Jacob Tremblay, Kristen Wiig, Eddie Redmayne, Anthony Mackie, Julianne Moore and Priyanka Chopra.

Predictions

This year's winners will most likely include Leonardo DiCaprio for his role in the "The Revenant." The actor's raw performance has made him a favourite in almost all the award shows this season.

Among the women, Cate Blanchett might go on to win the award for Outstanding Performance by a female actor in a leading role.

In the drama category, we predict that "Mad Men" will bag the award for it's stellar performance in the 50s period drama.
