Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, for one, has been a witness to this during his time as a cricketer. Failures, persistence and the never back down spirit do help a lot, especially in sports. An occasion lost is always an opportunity to reach new levels the next time.

Tendulkar, the co-owner of Kerala Blasters, along with Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna, mentioned just this in his ISL 2016 final post-match message to his Yellow Army.

"What a great journey throughout the ISL 2016 season! Hard luck with the penalty shootout. The Yellow Army, thank you for the love & support! You guys have been the best fans ever :) [sic]," tweeted Tendulkar on Monday morning.
