With such impressive figures on the first day, Sachin: A Billion Dreams is expected to enjoy a good run for the next two weeks at the domestic box office, and should be able to break a few box office records as well. Also, over the first weekend, the movie is expected to collect an impressive figure at the domestic market.
It is a first docudrama that has received such a massive response from the Indian audience in the mainstream cinema. Other docudramas like Gulabi Gang (2014) and Beyond Bollywood had failed at the box office.
