Sabudana Khichidi
Ingredients
Sabudana or Sago - 1 cup (Soaked in a water for an hour)
Onion - 1 chopped
Potato - 1 cut into pieces
A few Green peas
Green chilli - 1 chopped
Salt to taste
A few Coriander leaves
Fresh grated Coconut
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
A pinch of Asafoetida powder
Sugar - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Method:
1. Soak the Sabudana in a water for an hour.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, onion, green chilli, asofoetida, potato and green peas.
3. Add a little water to it and let it cook. Add some salt and a little sugar.
4. Once it cooked, add the soaked sago.
5. Add grated coconut, ghee, coriander leaves and mix it well.
