Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who plays the role of Gopi Bahu in "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya," has injured herself severely. According to reports, the actress slipped from the staircase of her apartment building and suffered a deep cut on her forehead. She has got several stitches on her forehead.
Considering that Devoleena plays the lead role on the show, she had no choice but continue shooting for the show. The report said that the writers have also included a sequence wherein she will be seen getting injured. Confirming the report, the actress told India Forums: "Yes, I have injured myself. I' had to get 10 stitches on my forehead."
Recently, another actress met with an accident. Leena Jumani, who plays the role of Tanu on "Kumkum Bhagya," fell off a two-wheeler while holidaying with her boyfriend in Goa. The actress hurt her head and sustained severe bruises around her eyes and legs.

Dr. Krishna (Khalid Siddiqui), who married Gopi after the death of her husband Ahem Modi (played by Mohammad Nazim), will soon turn a villain in Gopi's life. Not just that, Kajal Pisal, who played the role of Mansi, will also be re-entering the show.
