Television actor Vishal Singh, who is popular for his role of Jigar Modi on popular daily soap "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya," will soon be making his Bollywood debut with "Traffic," which has Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Sheirgill and Divya Dutta in key roles.
"Traffic" is the Hindi remake of Malayalam film with the same name and was directed by ace south director late Rajesh Pillai. The trailer was released recently and has been garnering a lot of positive response from viewers.
Talking about sharing screen space with talented Bollywood actors, Vishal told India Forums that it was great working with the cast. "It feels amazing. I had a very good time while shooting for it. I was offered the film, but I watched the Tamil version and only then did I give the nod for the remake. As for the experience, it was great working with veterans like Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Dutta and Jimmy Shergill. Even though the film is releasing quite late, I believe that there is a right time for everything," he said.
"There is no such thing as a lead actor or actress in this film. It is an ensemble cast, where one character is dependent on the other. All of us together take the story forward," Vishal said, when asked about his role on the film.
Vishal also mentioned how the entire team missed the filmmaker, who passed away in February this year. Recalling the director, the "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya" actor said that he was a very lively person and used to crack jokes on the sets.
"Traffic" is based on the real life story of accomplishing an impossible mission of transporting a heart by road in 150 minutes by the Mumbai police department. It is an emotional thriller and is set to hit the theatres on May 6, 2016.
