The makers of upcoming movie "Saala Khadoos" have released the official trailer of the film. Co-produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films, the film is a sports drama starring R Madhavan and real-life boxer Ritika Singh in the lead roles.

R Madhavan plays the role of a "banished" boxing coach and Ritika Singh appears as his arrogant student. The trailer of "Saala Khadoos" reveals a lot about the plot of the film. R Madhavan is a talented boxing coach who becomes a victim of politics in sports.

He then comes across Ritika Singh; he decides to train her as he thinks she is a born boxer. While Ritika gets well trained in the sport, her arrogance and anger leads to her downfall.

Madhavan also loses confidence in her and the master-student relationship suffers a crack. Eventually, she rises and prepares for a big fight. The trailer also shows a romantic angle in the film as Ritika somehow falls in love with Madhavan.

"Saala Khadoos" has been written and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and it has been simultaneously made in Hindi and Tamil (Irudhi Suttru).

During the trailer launch on Tuesday evening, Madhavan said that the toughest part in making the film was finding a teenage-looking girl who knows boxing as well as acting.

However, the trailer of the movie shows that Ritika did a pretty good job. The film is slated to be released on 29 January.
