Stylish star Allu Arjun's recent Telugu release "S/o (Son of) Satyamurthy" is now being dubbed in Malayalam. The producers have planned to release this version on 24 April in Kerala.
Allu Arjun is the most popular Tollywood actor in Kerala and has a large fan following in the state. Most of his Telugu movies were dubbed and released in Malayalam and proved to be big money spinners at the Mollywood box office.
Allu Arjun's last three Telugu releases "Julai", "Iddarammayilatho" and "Race Gurram" were released in Malayalam as "Gajapokkiri", "Romeo & Juliets" and "Lucky: The Racer". They have not only proved to be blockbuster success at box office, but also garnered a large numbers of new fans for Bunny.
Now, the makers of "S/o Satyamurthy" have planned for its grand release across the state. It is reported that the dubbing work is going on in full swing. The producers want to complete all the process soon and release it in theatres on 24 April. They have pinned high hopes on the performance of the Malayalam version at the Kerala box office.
Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, "S/o Satyamurthy" is a family drama film, which is all about how young man struggles to restore the name and fame of his family. The movie features Allu Arjun, Upendra, Samantha, Sneha, Adah Sharma, Nithya Menen, Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam and Ali in important roles.
Made on a whopping budget of ₹40+ crore, "S/o Satyamurthy" released in theatres on 9 April and has almost recovered its production cost from its theatrical run in the last 7 days. Looking at the huge response for the Telugu version, trade analysts predict that the Malayalam version will also be sure-shot success at the Kerala box office.
