With three back to back hits in a single year, Akshay Kumar is clearly in a happy space. The star threw a success party for "Rustom" for his B-Town friends and Hollywood star Will Smith.
The "Men In Black" actor posed for photos and was seen having a good time. He was apparently particularly thrilled about the Indian cuisine.
"Akshay also introduced Will to all other important guests who were present at the bash. Will looked very happy and met and greeted everyone with warmth. He also clicked pictures with the guests," The Indian Express quoted a source as saying.
What was surprising was, Hrithik Roshan, who stays in the same building was nowhere to be seen. However, he may have been down and out from the viral infection he has caught on or out of town.
Akshay's party began at 9 p.m. and spilled well into midnight. Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Esha Gupta, Ayan Mukerji and Sonakshi Sinha among others attended the bash.
Will Akshay have a crackling of a year in 2017?
It's too soon to predict the box office fate of his upcoming films, but going by the projects he has taken up, another blockbuster year doesn't look like a far-fetched dream.
He will be seen playing a Lucknow-based lawyer in "Jolly LLB 2," a role he has never essayed on celluloid. For Rajinikanth's "2.0," he will be turning into a mad scientist, who turns himself into a crowman with dangerously extended eyelashes and feathered ensemble after a lab experiment goes south.
"Namastey England," "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" and "Crack" are his other films, which are, as reported, scheduled to arrive in theatres in 2017.
