Just because Akshay Kumar does four films every year doesn't mean he is on board every second project that is out there waiting to be made.
Talking to Catch News, the superstar spilled the beans on his upcoming films and they are "2.0" and "Jolly LLB 2." The actor has about 19 days of shoot left in the Rajnikanth-starrer, whereas the other one will be wrapped up by September. "Ikka" and "Namastey England" are his two other films, one of which he should be able to kick-start this year.
"I have no idea about 'Hera Pheri 3' and 'Awara Paagal Deewana 2.' I am not a part of either of the two films. Even Baby 2 with Neeraj Pandey is not happening as yet," he told the web portal.
Meanwhile, here's a little on his next, "Rustom."
The trailer is out and so are the songs; the reviews have been positive so far. The hype is great and film looks promising. However, the only niggle is the box office clash with Hrithik Roshan's "Mohenjo Daro," which will leave "Rustom" with lesser number of screens.
However, Akshay isn't at all worried or anxious about it. He said both are big films and will do well in their own way. But it would really be unfortunate if "Rustom" didn't achieve the success it deserves because the actor has worked really hard to play the part right.
I have a Parsi secretary-manager, she is the reference point. In my school time, there was a guy whose name was Rustom. We used to call him Dodo. I know Parsis very well. I can speak a little bit of the language. The only thing I did was that I copied my manager's father's moustache," Akshay told IANS.
Also, he had to change his walk a little with the medals and uniform on.
