"RuPaul's Drag Race" is drawing to a close and the coveted Top 3 was revealed in Season 8 episode 9, which was aired on Monday, May 2. While all queens in Top 4 managed to impress both judges and fans, one of them was doomed to be eliminated even as the end was so close.

Episode 9, which marked the last episode on "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 8 where the queens would present a runway look, was exciting and entertaining in equal measures. Ru first asked the queens to shoot for a music video. Unfortunately, the queen who got eliminated this week would be edited out of it.
Chi Chi Devayne, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls and Bob The Drag Queen all appeared in the video in three different looks. While all queens faced some slip-ups, including Chi Chi's wardrobe malfunction, Naomi's near fall and Kim Chi's actual fall, the overall result seems impressive.
For the runway, Ru asked the queens to present the best look they have. While Chi Chi went for a long gown, Naomi served Cher realness with a pantsuit. Kim Chi went with one of her artistic, elegant looks on the runway and Bob, like Naomi, went with more of a business look.

Every judge appreciated the queens' journey on the show, especially Naomi and Chi Chi. They admitted that in the initial stages of the competition, they would not have anticipated the two of them in final four.
The judges also appreciated Kim Chi for embracing her differences and standing out among the lot. Bob, who statistically has performed better that the rest of her competitors, was also applauded.
Ru then asked each queen why they deserved to win over the others. While Bob said she has been a consistent performer, Chi Chi reminded everyone that she is dancing queen of the season. Kim Chi challenged that no one on the stage could do what she does in terms of make-up and costume.
However, Naomi is the one that gave the best answer. She said that she loved drag and that it is not about just comedy or just dance or just makeup that she loves about it. It's a culmination of it all, and she can do it all, Naomi reminded the judges.
After the judges' deliberation, all four queens lip synced for their life to RuPaul's hit song "The Realness." Despite Chi Chi's fantastic journey on the show, she was asked to sashay away after the performance. Now all that remains to be seen is who among Kim Chi, Bob and Naomi will take the crown of "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 8.
