Runaways is an upcoming superhero series based on a Marvel comic of the same name. The web drama will be aired on Hulu in 2018 and the first teaser trailer for the show has hit the cyberspace.
The online streaming site released a 45-second-long promo before it issued an official statement regarding the first season order for the series. The footage featured all the lead cast members including Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano and Virginia Gardner, as teen superheroes.
In the official footage, the lead characters stumble into a secret passage and Alex Wilder informs his friends, "This is some Narnia shit."

The teaser trailer of Runaways was released during the annual Upfront event on Wednesday, May 3, and it was shared online by one of the event's attendees. A screening footage of the promo was uploaded on Twitter by Jack Rico, the representative of an online publication called Pop Culture.
"Hulu will now be competing with Netflix by adding @MarvelStudios #Runaways. Here's the first look!" he wrote.
The footage was immediately removed by Rico due to copyright issues. However, some social media users retweeted the clip and shared it on YouTube before it was taken down. The video garnered over 22,000 views in few hours.
Runaways teaser trailer features the teen superheroes watching their parents going through a secret passage. The teen superheroes follow them and towards the end of the promo, they find out their parents are part of a super villain group called The Pride. Then, the young protagonists decide to fight the group.
The Marvel's superhero series stars Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder, Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru, Virginia Gardner as Karolina Dean, Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes, Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein, Allegra Acosta as Molly Hernandez, Ryan Sands as Geoffrey Wilder, Angel Parker as Catherine Wilder and Brittany Ishibashi as Tina Minoru among others.
