As former rumoured love-birds Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit recently shot together for Kalank, a report now claims that the veteran actors did not feel any sense of awkwardness while shooting.
Sanjay and Madhuri have reportedly shot for a few dramatic scenes for the movie. "Sanjay and Madhuri shot a couple of dramatic sequences together over three days with co-stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. While Varun's portions were wrapped up in two days, Alia was present on the set for a day after which she headed to Bulgaira to resume work with Ranbir Kapoor on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra," Mumbair Mirror quoted a source as saying.
The report further stated that despite their controversial past, there was no awkwardness between the duo while shooting. "Next up, Madhuri is scheduled to shoot her grand mujra song, choreographed by Saroj Khan and Remo D'souza, from September 5 to 7, while Sanjay is yet to wrap up his portions as well. All major scenes will be completed by the month-end," the source told the publication.
Although neither Sanjay nor Madhuri had ever admitted to their past rumoured affair, there are many reports that had stated that something romantic was brewing between the two stars while Sanjay was still married to his first wife.
However, Madhuri had reportedly moved away from Sanju after he was convicted for illegal possession of arms during 1993 Mumbai serial blast case.
Owing to this past, it was earlier reported that Sanjay and Madhuri had agreed to be part of Kalank on the condition that they would not have any scene together. But, latest reports suggest that they have buried the hatchet. Sanjay and the "Dhak Dhak girl" are going to share screen space after almost 25 years.
