Fans of Micromax's online-only sub-brand YU Televentures can log in to Amazon India to purchase the worthy Yureka Plus on Wednesday. The Rs 8,999 budget handset will be available for registered buyers starting at noon in its weekly flash sale.
The registrations for the 2 September sale have already closed.
Yureka Plus smartphone is a direct competitor to Lenovo K3 Note and has been getting a similar response. The weekly flash sales are a proof of the handset's huge success in India. To further push the competition, Yureka Plus will be available at the same time as Lenovo K3 Note, but on a different retail site.
As for Lenovo K3 Note, the handset is available in an open sale just for Wednesday via Flipkart. Usually, Amazon India accepts registrations for the next sale a day before the Yureka Plus sale commences. But this time there is no option to register for the next week's sale, which could mean the handset will be available in an open sale on 9 September. However, YU is yet to confirm it.
Yureka Plus is available at Rs 1,000 less than Lenovo K3 Note. For the price, the handset offers a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2,500mAh battery, dual SIM slots, 4G LTE support and runs on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB storage expandable up to 32GB.
Since the flash sales empty the stock in a short time, it is recommended that buyers log in to their Amazon India accounts in advance and wait for the sale at noon. In case they miss the sale, sign up for the Amazon wait list. Make sure you complete the transaction after adding the handset to the cart or Amazon will pass on the handset to the anticipating buyer on the wait list.
