Rohit Shetty's 'Dilwale': Kajol's Husband Ajay Devgn to Share Screen Space with Shah Rukh for First Time?

Rohit Shetty has not only brought back Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol after a gap of five years, but has also managed to get Ajay Devgn on board for his next movie "Dilwale".

One time rival, Ajay and Shah Rukh will share screen space for the first time in Rohit's upcoming film "Dilwale". But Ajay will have a special appearance in the film, which also features wife Kajol in the lead role.

Ajay and Shah Rukh, both are best buddies of the "Golmaal" director Rohit and only he can bring Kajol's on-screen love Shah Rukh and off-screen love Ajay together.

"Ajay will be there for a special appearance in Dilwale," a source told DNA.

"Rohit and Ajay are very close and it is Kajol's big comeback film. So it did not need too much of cajoling to get Ajay on board", explained the source.

"Dilwale" is Rohit's second venture with Shah Rukh after "Chennai Express". The film is a wholesome family entertainer and also features Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.

Rohit confirmed the casts, shooting date and other details of the film on Saturday.

"The film has Shah Rukh Khan with Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Vinod Khanna, Kabir Bedi, Johny Lever and Varun (Choocha) Sharma. It is being made by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Rohit Shetty Productions. It is not a remake of any film and will release this Christmas," Rohit told The Times of India.

The film will go on floors in March end and will release on Aamir Khan's lucky period, i.e. during Christmas holidays.
