There's nothing that Akshay Kumar doesn't do with style. While his counterparts are busy promoting and shooting for films, he ends 2015 on a 'high note'.
The "Brothers" actor has been signed to be play the antagonist in Rajnikanth's "Robot 2" (Enthiran 2). Thrilled and excited to be part of the project, the A-lister took to Twitter to confirm the news.
"Ending the year on a high note! Super excited to be a part of Robot 2 with the one & only @superstarrajini sir!," he posted.
This is a huge closure for the south superstar's fans as there have been numerous rumours around the central character's arch nemesis.
Big names such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan among others were associated with the sci-fi thriller at one point in time.
However, the Hollywood star couldn't be roped in because he came with 'extensive' paper work. "Just two days ago, talks with Arnie failed because there was extensive paperwork involved in getting the ex-Governor of California to come and work in India," The Times of India quoted a source as saying.
To be directed by Shankar, "Robot 2" will apparently star Amy Jackson in the lead. Reports suggest, the Brit import was in Los Angeles a few months ago to get her body mould created for the special costumes she needs to don in the film.
