Superstar Rajinikanth will soon appear in the sequel of his superhit film "Robot" alongside Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar. But it looks like the actor has not gotten over his former co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan yet, who featured in the first part of S Shankar directorial.
According to reports, Amy, who is the leading actress in the film, is addressed as "Aishwarya" by Rajinikanth on the sets. The superstar calls Amy "Aishwarya junior" on the sets of "Robot 2".
"Rajinikanth sir calls Amy 'Aishwarya junior' on the sets as he feels her hard work, persistence, and dedication is the same as Aishwarya," Daily Bhaskar quoted a source as saying.
Apart from Rajinikanth and Amy, "Robot 2" (Enthiran 2) also features Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in a negative role, and it was the leading lady who recommended his name to the makers for the role.
The "Airlift" actor has been signed to play the antagonist in "Robot 2" (Enthiran 2). Before Akshay, names of Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan, among others, were associated with the sci-fi thriller.
Meanwhile, the leading lady of the film is leaving no stone unturned to get into perfect shape. According to reports, Amy was in Los Angeles a few months ago to participate in make-up sessions for the film.
In other news, the team recently wrapped up its first schedule in Chennai and will head to Bolivia for the next schedule.
