It seems Twilight star Robert Pattinson loves his new girlfriend Dylan Penn's good sense of humour and love for music, which happen to be the qualities his ex girlfriend Kristen Stewart possesses.
A report by Hollywood Life claimed that the girls in Robert Pattinson's life - Kristen Stewart and Dylan Penn - have some qualities in common.
"One of the reasons Rob likes Dylan so much is because of her quirky sense of humour. It's funny because that's what Rob liked so much about Kristen - her sense of humour. Dylan is super sharp and is quick on her feet. She's very confident and comfortable in her own skin, and this is definitely a turn-on for Rob. She's far from being meek and clingy," a friend of the actor told Hollywood Life.
"Rob also likes the fact that Dylan is so into music, all kinds of music. Like Kristen, Dylan certainly walks to the beat of her own drum," added the insider.
The source went on to say that the 27-year-old actor wants to keep his relationship with Dylan out of limelight.
"Rob hasn't had such strong feelings for someone since Kristen," says the insider. "But he's taking the relationship very slowly and wants to keep this new relationship out of the public eye. This really came out of left field for Rob - he wasn't looking or expecting any kind of long term romance," said the insider.
It was earlier reported that actor Sean Penn doesn't want his daughter to date Pattinson. Kristen was also reportedly left devastated after learning that her ex boyfriend was dating her close friend.
Robert and Kristen's relationship run into trouble last year after the latter made a public apology for cheating on him while they were together. They reunited after a couple of months but parted ways after a few months of speculation.
Kristen and director Rupert Sanders had issued separate public apologies after the news of their affair surfaced in July 2012, costing them their respective relationships. Pattinson and Kristen parted ways after their efforts to mend their relationship failed and Liberty Ross filed for divorce on grounds of infidelity.
