Kristen Stewart's shocking affair with a Hollywood director forced Robert Pattinson to move out of his 4 million pound Los Angeles residence he shared with his long-time girlfriend.
According to People Magazine, the Twilight star packed up and moved to a secluded location after Stewart publicly confessed that she cheated on him over Rupert Sanders, director of the film "Snow White and the Huntsman", which Stewart played one of the lead roles in.
"I'm not sure they'll be able to recover from this. He is heartbroken and angry," People magazine quoted a source as saying.
"In seclusion and not in contact with Stewart, 22, the British star "is heartbroken and angry," the source added.
Last week, the actress was caught kissing Sanders, who is a married father of two. Following the brief affair, the actress issued a public apology to Pattinson for cheating on him.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," the 22-year-old actress said in a statement.
The incident has left Pattinson "heartbroken and angry". The actor is also depressed and really does not know what he should do further, a source said.
"Kristen really loves Rob more than anything. He's all that matters to her right now," an insider told People.
Pattinson and Stewart met on the sets of the first installment of the "Twilight" saga about four years ago, and were in a relationship since then. They were one of Hollywood's most photographed couple.
