Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are back together as a couple a month after Stewart cheated on him, British tabloid The Sun reported.
The Twilight co-stars' four-year-relationship was shattered when Stewart's affair with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders, surfaced in the media.
On Saturday, Pattinson revealed that he had a tearful heart-to-heart conversation with the 22-year-old actress after which he decided to pardon her "stupid mistake".
A source told The Sun that "They pretty much decided they couldn't live without each other. Kristen poured her heart out to Robert and told him it was a one-off and a mistake."
Devastated with Stewart's affair, Pattinson quit their Hollywood home in June and went to stay at Reese Witherspoon's California ranch.
There were also reports stating that Stewart's dad John begged Pattinson to patch things up with his daughter, according to the tabloid.
After forgiving the actress Pattinson is shifting to an isolated Los Angeles home along with his girlfriend.
"Rob sees it as Kristen made a really stupid mistake. After a lot of long tearful talks, they've worked it out. And he can see how truly sorry Kristen is and has totally forgiven her," the source told The Sun.
During the Toronto Film Festival, Stewart assured the media that she and Pattinson were "totally fine."
"We're going to be fine," Stewart told the Associated Press on Sept 8.
Last month, there were reports suggesting that the actor felt sad for Stewart and is ready to hear her side of the story in a face-to-face reunion.
"She begged to meet face to face so they could talk. It was obvious Kristen was getting through to Rob and he has agreed to see her," a friend told Look Magazine.
