Rishi Kapoor's health has been of major concern since recent past as the veteran actor is undergoing treatment in the US. While there were rumours that Rishi is suffering from cancer, his wife's Instagram post suggests that the speculations are true.
Rishi's wife, Neetu Kapoor posted a picture on Instagram that shows she along with Rishi, son Ranbir Kapoor, his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, and other family members celebrating new year. But it is the caption that suggested that Rishi has indeed been diagnosed with cancer.
"Happy 2019 no resolutions only wishes this year !!! Less pollution traffic!! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign !!! No hatred less poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health [sic]," she captioned the photo.
Although it is still not confirmed if Rishi is battling cancer or it is some other health issue, this caption certainly suggests that the speculations are true.
As soon as Rishi had tweeted about flying off to the US to undergo treatment, it was speculated that he is suffering from cancer. The rumours had gotten stronger when Rishi did not turn up for his mother, Krishna Raj Kapoor's funeral.
However, Rishi's brother, Randhir Kapoor had earlier denied the rumours.
"I want to deny all these speculations because tests haven't even started yet. Rishi is in the pink of health. His tests will start on Thursday in New York. Until we get the tests done and get the results, how can we say what is the problem? This is a very difficult and bad time for us as our mother Krishna ji passed away and now these kinds of rumours upset us," he had told ABP News then.
A couple of Bollywood stars including Irrfan Khan, Sonali Bendre have also been undergoing treatment for cancer.
