Not many stars of current generation had attended the funeral of actor Vinod Khanna on Thursday (April 27) evening, and that has irked Rishi Kapoor, who had acted with the late actor in films like Amar Akbar Anthony and Chandni. The veteran actor took to Twitter and slammed the "actors of this generation" for skipping Vinod's funeral but attending Priyanka Chopra's party.
Vinod's funeral was attended by senior stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Subhash Ghai and others, besides Rishi himself. Among the younger lot, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and some others had turned up for the last rites of the actor who lost his prolonged fight with cancer at a hospital in Mumbai.
After the funeral, Rishi took to Twitter and expressed his anger in a series of tweets. "Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna's funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect," he tweeted.
In his second tweet, Rishi said he has to be prepared for a similar scenario at his funeral as well. "Why this? Including mine and thereafter. When I die, I must be prepared.None will shoulder me. Very very angry with today's so called stars," he tweeted.
Citing clarification for his wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor not being present at the funeral, Rishi said the two were out of the country. Slamming the stars for attending Priyanka's bash and not Vinod's funeral, he said: "Angry. Met so many chamcha people last night at Priyanka Chopra's do last night. Few at Vinod's. So fuckn transparent. So angry with them."

Seventy-year-old Vinod's demise left Bollywood shocked. Many stars took to Twitter to express their grief. Ace filmmaker Karan Johar even cancelled the premiere of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which was scheduled for the day because of the tragedy.
