Upcoming action video game, Rise of the Tome Raider, will see the game's protagonist Lara Croft battling enemies, navigating through new environment and crafting her weapons.
The game has aroused curiosity among Tomb Raider fans as it will be featuring crafting system, weather system with day-night cycle and options for stealth and sneak attacks. The game will see the return of Croft's bow and arrow.
Developer Crystal Dynamics revealed that the game's main campaign will take 15 to 20 hours to play and the whole game might take 30-40 hours.
Mine Brinker, lead designer of the game, said in an interview with Pixel Vulture that players can "Expect to spend around 30-40 hours getting everything done. This is gathering every weapon, ability and completing every side quest."
"It all comes down to how you want to play through the game. Running through the game will take you around 15 – 20 hours," he said.
"So expect double the play time collecting everything and exploring every secret tomb. In terms of scale, all our hub spaces, the areas that allow you to explore and choose your own way to play, have been increased by three time the size," he added.
VG247 observes that though 20 hours of play is less, considering it s an open-world game, it is bigger than the 2013's Tomb Raider.
