Rihanna and Chris Brown may run into each other, now that the latter is out of the jail, suggests reports. Speculations are rife that with BET awards scheduled on 29 June, there are high chances that the ex-lovers may run into each other.
Rihanna and Brown share a long history. The two have shared everything from romance to love triangle to a physical abuse incident and fans are now hoping that they will become civil with each other leaving away their past.
"Look, Chris is ancient where she's concerned," a source told HollywoodLife. "They're not together and that chapter of her life has been long and gone. She don't hate the boy — yeah, he's a boy — but she doesn't hate him."
However, Brown is understood to be uncomfortable meeting with Rihanna and it is rumored that he may miss the BET awards because of that.
"It may not be the best place for him to be because Rihanna might be there and it's probably too soon for him to be in the same room as her," a source told the Website. "He's still working on his feelings and emotions and just doesn't need anyone to say anything smart or even look at him the wrong way."
Meanwhile, it is being said that though Rihanna wants him to be fine, she wants to keep a major distance. Also, if she comes to BET awards she is reported to be more focused on her outfit then on running into someone from her past.
"Don't know if she's even going," the source spilled. "But I'll tell you this. If she does, she will be focused on her outfit, her hair, her fans and be up there trying to get every award possible. She doesn't have time to think about the bullsh*t or running into someone from her past. It's all business where she's concerned and at the end of the day, she will be cute and always keep it cute, too."
Rihanna recently made waves with her transparent sequin dress at CFDA awards where Anna Wintour presented her the 2014 fashion icon award. Going by the Bajan singer's risqué fashion sense, it will not come as a surprise if she hits the BET awards red carpet in another risqué outfit.
As far as RiRi's romantic life is concerned, she has recently cut ties from her alleged boyfriend Drake. The two never confirmed their romance gossips but were rumored to be dating since March.
