Honda Cars India (HCIL) said it sold 18,606 cars in domestic sales in July 2015, 18% higher than its July 2014 sales of 15,709 units.
The company sold 1,133 units of its small car Brio in July 2015, while Amaze and City recorded sales of 4,589 units and 5,180 units, respectively.
Besides, Honda sold 130 units of CRV, its sports utility vehicle (SUV), and 909 units of its first MPV – Mobilio – in July this year.
Exports stood at 614 units in July, taking the company's total July 2015 sales to 19,220 units.
Honda's new Jazz, the premium hatchback, which made its comeback to the Indian market in July, clocked a sale of 6,676 units, driving sales.
