Ever since "Nach Baliye 7" concluded, the viewers of the celebrity dance reality show have been waiting for the next season. However, the buzz is that "Nach Baliye 8" has been kept on hold.
It is known that Ekta Kapoor, producer of "Nach Baliye 7," has opted out of producing the new season due to differences with the channel, Star Plus. While Endemol has stepped in as the new producer of "Nach Baliye 8," an Absolute India report states that the deal with Endemol is yet to be finalised.
The channel has now decided to keep the reality show on hold for a couple of months until they seal the deal with Endemol. Instead of "Nach Baliye 8," the channel will run its ongoing fiction shows seven days a week.
"The channel has kept Nach Baliye on hold, as Ekta Kapoor has opted out of producing the show due to differences with the channel. While the eighth edition of Nach Baliye will be produced by Endemol, the producers of Bigg Boss, things are yet lock between Endemol and the channel," a source told the daily. "With daily soaps being aired six days a week and Nach Baliye on hold the channel, has decided to extend one more day and now daily soaps will be aired seven days a week," the source added.
