Looks like Hollywood's most-adored "perfect" couple aren't just on a "break"; it's confirmed that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have broken up for good and have no chance of getting back together — ever.
Latest reports claim that their love story came to an end when Garfield confessed to cheating on his girlfriend of three years while shooting in Taiwan.
A couple of days ago, the news of Garfield-Stone break-up went viral online when "The Birdman" actress ended things and moved back to LA. The break-up was seen as if the couple were "just taking a break from each other."
But in the latest revelation by OK!Magazine, the real reason behind the break-up stood out evidently and "work commitment," as reported earlier, clearly wasn't the reason behind it all.
"The Amazing Spider-Man" couple split after Garfield confessed to having a one-night stand while shooting for "Silence" in Taiwan.
"He says that he met a girl in a bar, and that he would never dream of doing anything like that ever again," a source told the magazine.
The couple have been in a live-in relationship for few years now, but a source recently claimed that they had been "fighting" and "hadn't seen each other" for quite some time.
Apparently, Stone, after noticing that her boyfriend was keeping away from her, confronted him and was devastated to know the shocking truth.
Although Garfield believes that Stone will forgive him, it doesn't look like the lady is in any mood to do so. "She was horrified. She never thought that he'd be capable of this in a million years, and she's beside herself," the insider said of Emma's reaction.
Now, the Spidey boy never really expected the repercussion of his confession would be so bad, but looks like it has taken a toll on Stone, emotionally.
The source confirmed the break-up and said: "She feels betrayed and says that she can't be with someone she doesn't trust. She knows that they can't be together every second of every day and doesn't want to be constantly worried that he'll cheat again."
