Suhasini Maniratnam and Lizzy's brainchild, the reunion of actors of the Southern film industry from the 80s, will complete its ninth year. This time, the stars have decided to meet outside the country.
Yes, the celebrities will take off from their busy schedules for the reunion to be held in China this year. Over the years, the reunion meets were organised in different places by Lissy, Suhasini, Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth, Mohanlal and Ambareesh.
However, this year they will meet in China and it is most likely to be held in June first week.
Rajinikanth, Ambareesh, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Balakrishna, Kamal Haasan, Venkatesh, Radhikaa Sarath Kumar, Khushboo, Ramya Krishna, Nagarjuna, Ambika, Radha, Revathy, Saritha, Jayaram and many others are expected to be part of the reunion.
Suhasini Maniratnam and Lizzy stumbled upon the idea in 2009 when they attended a wedding and happened to meet many actors of the 80s. Since then, it has become an annual tradition. The actors, who made their debuts in the 80s, will be part of the meet. Apart from the actors, no others will be invited including their spouses for the get-together, the suggestion made by Rajinikanth and late Vishnuvardhan.
