Reunion Island volcano spits out lava in fiery eruption
The Piton de la Fournaise volcano on Frances Reunion island erupted for the second time in 2016 on 11 September. The volcano is located in an uninhabited area and does not pose a danger to the public, but island inhabitants were still able to catch a glimpse of the spectacular lava flows that lit up the night.
