Upcoming Malayalam film "Kohinoor" has been in the news ever since it went on floors as the film is co-produced by actor Asif Ali under his home production Adam's World of Imagination, named after his son Adam Ali.
Recently, reports were doing the rounds on social media that the film will have an item dance by actress Bhavana. Many online news portals carried the news claiming the actress took the decision as she was not getting worthy roles in films these days.
After the news went viral, Salil Menon--the script writer of "Kohinoor"--has come forward rubbishing the rumours about Bhavana's item song in the film.
"Its a clean neat family entertainer.. And Bhavana has done friendly appearance in a song, which will be released soon," Salil posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.

The story of "Kohinoor" starts from 1988 and Asif will be seen as Louis and actress Aparna Vinod of "Njan Ninnodu Koodeyundu" fame will be seen opposite Asif in the retro heist film. It is believed that Bhavana will be seen as Louis' ex-girlfriend in the film.
Directed by Vinay Govind, "Kohinoor" is scripted by Salil and Ranjeet Kamala Sankar. The film also has Indrajith Sukumaran, Aju Varghese, Vinay Forrt and Chemban Vinod in significant roles. "Kohinoor", co-produced by Asif, Sajin Jaffar and Brijeesh Mohamed, is scheduled for Eid al-Adha release on 24 September.
The audio of "Kohinoor" was launched by megastar Mammootty and the film's trailer, launched by actor Nivin Pauly on 10 September, has been receiving positive responses from the audience.
