Priyanka Chopra, who was very attached to her late father Dr Ashok Chopra, has dedicated the success of her latest film "Mary Kom" to him.
Recently, the actress earned the best actress title at Renault Star Guild Awards 2015 for her performance in the sports biopic, "Mary Kom".

Priyanka's father passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer in 2013, while she was shooting for "Mary Kom". He had retired from the Indian Army in 1997 as lieutenant-colonel and was a doctor by profession.
Priyanka also has a "Daddy's Li'l Girl" tattoo on her right wrist.
Directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Mary Kom" received several accolades for portraying the life of Olympic bronze medalist MC Mary Kom.
Made on a budget of ₹150 million, the biopic grossed more than ₹Rs 1.04 billion from the worldwide box offices.
The actress is currently shooting for her first period historical drama, "Bajirao Mastani", which also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on 25 December, 2015.
