A few days ago, French automaker Renault shared the first image of its upcoming MPV Lodgy, confirming its launch in India. Now, a fresh batch of images of the MPV has emerged online ahead of its possible launch in March, this time showing us the interiors of the Lodgy.
Auto enthusiasts in the country have already seen enough spy shots and reports of Lodgy MPV. But now, thanks to the folks at IndianAutosBlog, the latest coming our way are the interior spy shots of the vehicle. From the images, what we can clearly see are a touchscreen infotainment system, circular, chrome-ringed AC vents and a central console. There seems to be a rotary knob as well below infotainment system, indicating that the Lodgy could also get a manual AC system like Duster.
Renault Lodgy, which is already being sold in the international market, is expected to get 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine in two states of tune - 85PS and 110P under the hood when it comes to India.
From a visual stand point, the India specific Lodgy is likely to flaunt a similar design of its global counterpart, but with a redesigned front fascia. As for the features, expect Lodgy to pack three-spoke steering wheel, dual-tone dashboard and centre armrest for rear passengers. Previous reports have also indicated parking sensors and reverse camera.
Once it hits Indian shores, Lodgy will be pitched against Honda Mobilio, Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Innova, Chevrolet Enjoy and new Datusn Go+. Speaking of the pricing, expect Lodgy MPV to fall in the price range of ₹8 - ₹11 lakh in India.
