French automaker Renault has launched its stunning Lodgy MPV in India with an introductory price tag of Rs 8.19 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The highly-anticipated Lodgy MPV is almost here. French auto maker Renault is all set to pull the wraps off its new MPV in India on 9 April (Thursday).
Lodgy MPV, the latest entrant in the burgeoning MPV segment is a crucial launch for Renault, as the company looks forward to grab a larger pie of the Indian car market. In India, Lodgy will face stiff competition from Honda Mobilio, Maruti Ertiga and Chevrolet Enjoy.
Renault Lodgy will be getting power from 1.5-litre dCi four-cylinder diesel engine that can churn out 85 PS and 110 PS of power outputs. The 85 PS variant will come mated to 5-speed manual transmission whereas the 110 PS will get 6-speed manual transmission.
Both the versions will be offered with 7 and 8 seater configuration and the model will give a return of 21.04kmpl in the case of 85PS variant and 19.98kmpl in 110PS.
Measuring 4,498 mm in length, 1,751 mm in width and 1,697 mm in height, Lodgy MPV is expected to house electrically-adjustable wing mirrors, touchscreen infotainment system with USB, AUX connectivity and rear view camera with reverse parking sensors.
The company's dealers have already started accepting the bookings for the new Lodgy with a down payment of ₹50,000 and the model is expected to be available in the price range of ₹8 to ₹11 lakh.
