Let's start with Renault Kwid. Under the hood, Kwid will come with an all-new, 800cc, BR-8, DOHC, 3 cylinders engine, which is tuned to dish out 57bhp and a peak torque of 74Nm. In Kwid, transmission will be taken care of by either a five-speed gearbox or AMT.

On the other hand, Alto 800 is powered by an F8D 796cc engine, which generates an output of 48 PS at 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm at 3,500 rpm torque. The engine comes paired to five-speed manual transmission.
