French auto maker Renault's small car Kwid continues its test runs in India. The car, which was caught on camera numerous times, has returned in a fresh spy shot ahead of its festive season launch in India.
Snapped by Anything-on-wheels in Chennai, the latest spy shot of Kwid shows the rear end of the model. Like before, the Kwid is seen without any hint of camouflage. Kwid, which was unveiled in the country in May, will be taking on the likes of Maruti Alto K10 and Hyundai Eon.
Under the hood, Renault Kwid will be getting a new 800 cc three-cylinder petrol that is expected to churn out 57bhp of power engine with either a five-speed gearbox or automated manual transmission (AMT). The model is expected to be priced in the range of ₹3-₹4 lakh and will also be on sale in other countries.
Kwid is based on all-new platform CMF-A and is expected to pack features like optional air bags, Media Nav multimedia and navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity.
