Renault's small car Kwid will be making its much-awaited entry into the Indian market during the festive season this year. The car, which is currently undergoing its final tests in the country, has been caught on camera once again, adding to the long list of sightings before the launch.
Snapped by Indian Autos Blog reader near Bangalore, Renault Kwid will lock horns with Maruti Alto K10 and Hyundai Eon when launched in India. The company will also be selling Kwid in other markets outside India.
The Kwid, which was unveiled in India earlier in May, will be getting new 800 cc three-cylinder petrol that is expected to churn out 57bhp of power engine with either a five-speed gearbox or automated manual transmission (AMT).
Based on all-new platform CMF-A, Kwid is expected to get features like optional air bags, Media Nav multimedia and navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity. Renault's new Kwid will be priced in the range of ₹3-₹4 lakh.
