It looks like French car-maker Renault wants to keep enjoying the laurels it has been getting of late. The company, which launched the powerful avatar of its popular Kwid hatchback in India recently, is now reportedly getting ready to launch the production-spec version of the two concepts -- Kwid Racer and Kwid Climber. Renault had showcased Kwid Racer and Kwid Climber concepts at the Auto Expo 2016 in February.
Emerging reports on the web suggest that Renault is likely to launch the Kwid Racer and Kwid Climber in the country by the end of this year. The Kwid Racer and Kwid Climber are likely to be launched as special editions in India. Renault is also expected to launch the automated manual transmission (AMT) avatars of the Kwid in the market during the festive season this year. Both 1.0 litre and 800cc engine versions of the Kwid are likely to get AMT box.
